Case Files of Professor Blacktail

I'm not really in a grand mood right now, so short and sweet time. Work continues to go well enough. I took the holiday off, as one would expect, and helped a companion with a story she's writing. Christamas was... well, I survived it.

I'm bloody doomed! I haven't done a spot of Christmas shopping for anyone, not even my mate, and there is less than a week left before the 25th. as is always the case, I don't have the slightest bloody clue what to get anyone. It's really funny, I suppose. I love to shop, but when x-mas rolls around, I am at a complete and total loss. Fates, give me strength.

I was never much for doing journals, but my mate talked me into it, so here we are. I'm Noctera, by the way. And, since I'm quite busy with a research project at the moment, I'll keep this quite short for now. Time permitting, it'll be longer next time. Due to a vast amount of work, I've been far too busy to even think about christmas. Cards aren't sent, shopping isn't done... It's a bloody nightmare and there's nothing I can do to make it go away. For the first time, I'm dreading the holidays. I just want them to go away so I can get something done. My apologies, but now I have a stack of research to sort and grade before thursday. Ta ta.
